happy 2nd birthday to the clover
This fourth daughter of ours is such a wild treat.
On her birthday, we as a family, talked about some of our favorite things about her:
~ She’s always singing and she loves it. She knows so many songs most of which is Hillsong worship, but also includes Jesus Loves Me, This Little Light of Mine, ABC’s, Twinkle Twinkle (in her language Tinkle Tinkle), The Lord is my Shepherd, Row Row Row Your Boat, and a few more) The best is when she breaks out in loud singing in a quiet place or on a plane.
~ She has incredible manners for a 2 year old – always saying thank you and please, and no thank you, and “okay, mommy, I will.”
~ She has wildly curly hair.
~ She has the sweetest smile.
~ She always says, “mom, I want to run away.” (when she wants me to put her down so she can run around)
Clover is sweet, wild, loud, tender, compassionate, hilarious, silly, vocal, beautiful. She’s our most tan baby with the lightest, most curly hair.
Some of my prayers for Clover this year comes from Proverbs 2:10, 11, 20 which says:
“When wisdom enters your heart, and knowledge is pleasant to your soul, discretion will preserve you; understanding will keep you.
So you may walk in the way of goodness, and keep to the paths of righteousness.”
I know she’s only two, but I believe God has a great calling on Clover’s life and I think wisdom and understanding and seeking God first can start this young. This little heart keeps my on my toes, but I’m incredibly thankful to be her mommy and I want to do all I can to train and teach her in the way of goodness and in the paths of righteousness.
I pray that Clover Dawn Lusko would know Jesus and love Him and live for Him all her days!
We brought Clover out on stage at the O2 Experience to sing happy birthday to her:
